United in Christ
How marvelous that I can approach the throne of Father, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
I stand amazed that You could include me in the promises to Abraham’s descendants. I also stand guilty of considering some more “acceptable” than others. Forgive me.
Help me to see rather through Your eyes of mercy, that ALL who are clothed in Christ inherit the same kingdom.
Those who have only a meager measure of faith,
those who have few works,
those who seem insignificant in the eyes of the world,
once clothed with Christ all become my brothers and sisters with You as our Father.
While I eagerly acknowledge those who outwardly proclaim You, help me also see those who are early in their faith. Help me draw near to them to encourage them as equal brothers and sisters.
- Show me one today who needs to see faith in action, that I might show them a greater measure of fearless faith.
- Show me one today from whom I can see and develop an even greater faith in action.
Give my heart a fresh desire to live in harmony with my fellow believers. Show me new ways to work alongside those of the faith toward our common goal of
sharing the gospel,
making new disciples,
growing closer to You
as we go about Your kingdom work.
I pray these things in the name of Jesus’, my joint heir and Savior,
